The Fire Goat combines the Goat’s gentle, creative nature with Fire’s warmth and drive. In Chinese tradition it is linked with artistic expression, compassion and following the heart, and Goat years are often described as calmer after the energy of a Horse year.
What the year means for each sign
- Goat (born 2015, 2003, 1991, 1979): this is your own year, called ben ming nian. Tradition says it brings change and some turbulence, and many people wear red for protection.
- Horse: the Goat’s secret friend, traditionally a supportive year.
- Rabbit and Pig: natural allies of the Goat, also considered favorable.
- Ox: the sign that clashes with the Goat, so tradition advises extra care with big decisions.
